Does this sound like a good skin care regimen?

1.500 mg vitamin c pill.
2. Clean and Clear scrub,cleanser,toner.
3.Garnier Light Cream
Does sound like a good skin care regimen?
Don’t use a cleanser (exfoliant) every day if it’s just a face wash, sure.
It sounds good – skin care is so individual the best advice is a solid face wash, toner and natural cream – (no mineral oils).
Vitamins a e and c are all good for clear skin.
i want to know that how can care of skin from aloe vera (ghrit kumari)?

aloe vera is a plat. so what is use of aloe vera for skin?
Aloe vera has antiseptic and moisturising properties. So it can be used for minor cuts or rashes some people even use it for bug bite. It is used for making the rough skin smooth and dry skin can be treated with it. Try to use the pure gel, its very effective…..but anything natural takes time to work.
Aloe Vera & Paba both burn my skin esp face & neck?
Posted by admin on Oct 6, 2009
I am 1 of the very few severly allergic to both on the face & neck areas. Aloe & paba is in so many skin care products esp for sensitive skin like mine. Yes I have witnessed the black sores in the past from the allergic reactions
try Johnson’s baby lotion, or other baby products for sensitive skin.

What is the chemical makeup of Aloe Vera, and why is it important to have in your skin care regime?
Posted by admin on Sep 29, 2009
Alo vera is a gel derived from a plant it’s all natural and is not man made but if you really want to know the chemical make up it will have to be done in a lab although the reconstitution may not be the same when you put it back together.
Alo has been proven to have good skin care quallities and was even used by the ancient egyptian royals.
Vitamin C and skin care?
Posted by admin on Sep 29, 2009
Has anyone ever used Vitamin C powder, made a paste, and used it as a mask or wrinkle treatment. I found a recipe that called for 1/8 t V C powder mixed with water to make a paste, put on skin for 10 minutes and wash off, then moustirize. I wanted to know if pure V C powder is too strong or have any side effects.
I wouldn’t think it would be a hazard using it that way… I’ve used vita-c jel caps that are from the body shop off e-bay that are highly concentrated & the vita e serum from Avon & they’re both good..
Has anyone ever had a reaction to serious skin care sold on HSN?
Posted by admin on Sep 23, 2009
I had a reaction including swelling when using all varieties of serious skin care glycolic vitamin c etc. Has this happened to anyone else. I told my derma. he said it might be the preservatives they use.
Hi There are a number of ingredients in mass market skin care products that can cause irritations, Some of these chemicals were developed for industrial use; propylene glycol adds body and a smooth texture to products such as shampoo, but began life as industrial antifreeze; sodium lauryl sulphate is a foaming agent that started out as, and is still used as an engine degreaser. Other chemicals that can cause problems include parabens, petrochemicals, artificial colours and preservatives. Unfortunately these are very common in skin care products. So I suggest you replace your current skin care products with ones that are more natural. Look for products that: •are Certified Organic •have natural products in their ingredients lists •contain do not contain petrochemicals, parabens, or sulphates. •use natural preservatives like tea tree oil, or a combination of various essential oils that have antimicrobial activity (eg lavender, lemon, rose, rosemary, sage, sandalwood), grape seed extract or honey. Avoid products that: •have the word “organic” or “natural” in their brand name but don’t have organic certification. •have lots of chemical sounding names in the ingredients list I hope this helps Cheers Sonya
Can a grilled cheese sandwich provide exfoliation and natural moisturizers as a skin treatment ?
Posted by admin on Sep 23, 2009
i’ve never heard that before…sounds a bit crazy….if you want to exfoliate your skin with products you can find at home….try oat meal and honey…mix together and scrub your face…other wise your going to have cheese and grease all over your face….
